Product Description
The upper and sole are sewn together, not merely glued, like many footwear constructions. The original Dr. Martens air-cushioned sole, providing underfoot comfort and durability since 1960. I received these shoes today and found they are way too big. I normally wear a Women's 9W, they only came in medium though. That was fine since it's a unisex shoe and men's shoes are normally wider. I ordered the women's size and when they arrived, I found they are about 1 to 1 1/2 size too big. The heel slips with every step and there is about a good inch or more to spare in the toes. The width was fine though. Also, the color is not the same as shown on Amazon's page. On the page they appear to be an oily black (greyish/black), the pair I received was jet black. I'm not really concerned about the color, as I'm looking for a comfortable black supportive shoe to wear at work. I am returning this pair and will try ordering a size smaller, hoping that will do the trick.

I had been looking around for a good, sturdy pair of brown shoes for the winter when I came across these. They were exactly what I was looking for, but I was nervous about buying shoes online, since you never know how they are going to fit. When they arrived I found that fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable.

REALLY NICE WORKMANSHIP, GREAT FIT , AND REALLY FELT GOOD FROM THE FIRST TIME I PUT THEM ON, WAS ABLE TO WEAR THEM AND BE ON MY FEET ALL DAY LONG THE FIRST DAY.
