The leather is very nice and they are fully lined in leather, with a padded inner sole. True to size, with a lot of toe room both width & length wise. The toe area is perforated with a nice pattern. They are very comfortable. The color was nicer than pictured - black & a very light dove grey, not white as you might expect. The sole is as pictured & I found it much more attractive than I expected - I had my doubts about the liking the colored soles. My complaints are regarding the stitching, the pinked or jaggedly cut edges of the black leather, & the weight/stiffmess of the shoes. I was somewhat disappointed in the quality here. I expected a more solid shoe, with stronger stitching & better cutting. Overall I like the shoes however, and my criticisms aren't enough to make me return them, since I really want a pair of two tone spectators, and they aren't easy to come by.

Wow –I just got my new oxford saddle shoes and I am very pleased as they are much nicer than I expected. I have looked at just about all the oxford shoes on Amazon and finally decided on these as I have leather coats made by Steve Madden and find their quality consistent. The leather lining is very soft and luxurious. The outer leather is soft like a lamb. The crimping on the black edge makes the shoe more grownup then the saddle shoes of my youth. I am wearing socks with my shoes and they fit perfectly - 7B. They are dressy enough to wear with black slacks and a dressy shirt.Here’s the story of why I wanted black and white oxfords. I like the singer/dancer Janelle Monet. I like to watch videos of her dancing and her fashion style. So - I am nothing like Janelle nor do I dance like her and her Krewe BUT I can have some of those great looking black and white shoes that she wears on all her music videos. Now I am going to dance on the tightrope too with my black and white shoes. The shoes slide nicely when you dance around. I am now dancing to the refrigerator to clean it - happily.

They are great! Exactly what I was looking for very light and comfortable...would buy again. They are true to color and size was my exact size.
