Engineered to ease a range of common foot ailments, this women's walking shoe is made of nubuck and trimmed in full grain leather; stitching details add eye-catching accent, as a lace closure ensures a secure fit. The supportive Ultron® insole can be removed and replaced with a prescription orthotic, if desired. Dri-Lex® and Aegis® microbe shield help maintain a healthy foot environment even during increased levels of activity. An extended medial heel stabilizer and steel shank enhance stability with every step. The Drew Geneva casual oxford is finished with a cork-infused rubber sole for a secure foundation. Other Drew shoes built on the same last will offer a similar fit. Fit tip: This style runs a half-size large. We recommend ordering a half-size down from your usual size.

Shoes were too heavy for my frail wife. We returned the shoes for this reason. Otherwise, an excellent pair of shoes.

I actually bought these through a local shoe shop and stupidly wore then outside thinking I would get use to them, but alas, they are horrible, for me, and now I can't return them. I normally wear Birkenstock shoes, but needed to get them resoled and thought I would try these out in the mean time. I will give them 2 stars since they are well constructed, very roomy (if you need that), and fairly soft. However, ever since I've been wearing them my back, legs, hips, knees, ankles, and feet have been in terrible pain. They are horribly heavy. They are actually heavier than my boots. They have little to no arch support, and my feet slide all over the place. I did finally put an extra orthotic in and wear really heavy winter socks to help. I couldn't tighten them enough. I'm just glad my Birkenstock's came back and my pain has abated almost overnight. If you are used to a Birkenstock type shoe, this is not going to work for you, probably. There are quite a few good reviews of this shoe on another site, so I guess they work from some people?
