I bought a pair of these in Europe, and now I'm so happy to see my favorite Riekers available here. They are incredibly sof and feather light, no break-in necessary. I can wear them without any socks on warmer days, and they never irritate the skin. The only warning I have is to be mindful of the thin inner liner cloth sometimes loosely glued to the perforated leather - in some places in one shoe it was not sticking strongly (above toe area). After wearing them a few times and making sure that cloth piece was not rolling up in some weird way, now it stays in place so I can forget about it and enjoy the complements I keep getting on these incredibly lightweight shoes.
