Heel is shown higher than it actually is.The shoe also looks wide and like it is designed for an elderly person, where the picture here is quite cool.I was disappointed

This is a good-quality shoe made under the old (read "high-quality") Mephisto standards. I am 33, and work in midtown Manhattan and, unlike the previous reviewer, I do not feel that this shoe is very old-fashioned. The heel height is just right for a long day. The shoe is not wide for my regularly "B" fit. I normally would wear these shoes with a work skirt, but for others, it will look even better with work pants. To sum up, high quality, comfortable, classic shoes at a reasonable price for an investment in yourself.
