The shoes are a little masculine in looks (think your granddad's oxfords) but I'm enjoying the juxtaposition of wearing them with a girlie skirt and tights. They tend to be a tad wide even with socks - the laces meet across the top of my medium width foot. Otherwise the fit is true and the shoe is comfortable. The color of the heal is lame. It looks like black magic marker instead of the rich and deep black leather of the shoe upper. Even so, I like my new kicks.
