I've been looking for years for a true menswear style oxford made for women that has the same quality standard as men's shoes. These oxfords are absolutely beautiful and made to last for years. Really exceptional quality as compared to most women's shoes and very 'on trend' for the current menswear look. Absolutely comfortable from the first moment I put them on. It's possible that they run about a 1/2 size large but due to the excellent design the foot doesn't slip around. I'm happy that I ordered my usual size and was so pleased with the black pair that I came back and ordered the brown. Highly recommended

Wish Frye's were still made in USA. That said, for the price, this is a surprisingly well made and good looking shoe. Exceptionally comfortable right out of the box, no break in. Can easily wear all day with more comfort than many shoes billed as "comfort" shoes. True to size. Given its tasteful, classic style (no very trendy details to quickly date it) and quality workmanship and materials, expect to get years of use and excellent cost-per-wear value.

I normally wear a size 9 and wear an 8 in these shoes. They are wonderful. I've been searching for these shoes my whole adult life. Can finally get rid of the hideous clogs. Took a while to break in. Sprinkled them with baby powder and are now comfortable after about three wears.
