Cute but too narrow

Tight in the toes

Good looking and classy

I purchased this as a gift for my friend, and with prime membership, the pricing is actually good. Dr. Martens has a good reputation of making good leather shoes, too.Upon receiving it, the burgundy color is beautiful on the shoe, and will have a vintage look once faded and worn for periods of time. The sizing is accurate and it fit snugly. My friend was delighted and wore it the day she received it - bad idea. Unfortunately, although it's comfortable and we walked for a while, she started to have blisters at the end of her foot. The leather requires a while to "turn soft". Before that, I'd recommend putting band aids at the sides and ends of the feet to avoid blisters. Other than that, good looking and could either be worn for casual or formal dress.

Love these shoes

Love the shoes, perfect fit. A bit hard to get into at first, but after wearing them several times, they have steetche to fit my foot. The laces are not adjustable, which I thought they were. Can be worn casual or dressy. Lovely

Nice shot of color for spring

Beautiful shoe! The perfect shot of color to go with a fairly neutral casual outfit. I ordered a size 8 and found it a little tight in the toe area. I returned it and ordered a half size larger and it was fine. The sole is man made material that is quite slick and I had to purchase some glue on anti skid pads to make the shoe safer. For this price, I think it should have had the leather sole that was promised in the description or at least one that wasn't going to cause you to slip and fall. Otherwise I would have given it a 4.5 rating

Color Not as Pictured

When I saw this shoe online, I ordered it immediately, since I had owned this oxford many years ago. When it arrived, I gasped, since the brown on this oxford is nothing like the bright - almost coppery brown color in the picture, Instead, it is a darker, dull brown, almost an olive color. Further, the shoes had been worn, based on the small wrinkles beneath the big toe area. However, after wearing them, I am reminded of the pros: The shoes are well-made, as the Via Spiga is a reliable, quality brand. The soles are leather, with some anti-skid material on the toes and heels. The brown color, while not my preference, is a neutral tone (although it takes getting used to). Most women's oxfords of this style and workmanship usually cost quite a bit more. So, I decided to keep them. Had the color been as pictures, and not had the small wrinkles, I would have given them 5 stars.
